The Department of FISCal continually makes updates and enhancements to the system based on feedback from our end users. Our goal is to improve usability while maintaining the highest level of security for the state’s data.
FI$Cal released the following enhancements in July 2019 (descriptions include ServiceNow case numbers):
Req to Check (Accounts Payable, Purchase Orders, Cash Management)
- Left the value for the Account field blank on Requisition, Contract and Purchase Order (PO), forcing the end user to select a configured value for Account. (CS0142052)
- Hid the Release Quantities/Release Amounts tab on Procurement Contract Items lines for all new Procurement Contracts. For Procurement Contracts, also hid when no data is populated in the Release Quantities/Release Amounts tab. (CS0144577)
- Changed to pull from the GUID of the person logged into FI$Cal performing the Requisition Upload, instead of pulling from the FI$Cal Interfaces-Outbound Notification page. Values that are not in true error will be removed and not displayed in the Error Log notifications. (CS0136502)
- Added the field “Origin” to the Manage Requisition page so departments using the Requisition Upload can search by the Origin of “BCH” and easily find their requisitions that were uploaded. (CS0135707)
Order to Cash (Accounts Receivable, Billing, Cash Management)
- Modified component and code in order to make changes to Account Outside CTS where a department processor will have edit capability in the bank account header. Created option to delete account details when status is not approved. Added new component, page, records, and PeopleCode to allow only STO Approver to have the ability to add a new Bank Outside CTS. (CS0076738)
- Created new table Outside CTS table to load Bank Data. (CS0076739)
Record to Report (General Ledger, Labor Distribution, KK {commitment control})
- Modified Employee ID Maintenance page to make Business Unit, Payroll Agency Code, and Reporting Unit fields editable when “Search Employee” returns Employee ID. Also, added new “Update Employee” button on page to update this information in Employee Position Table. (CS0124096)
