On February 22, executive staff from the Department of FISCal (FI$Cal) are participating in the Government Innovation California event hosted by the Public Sector Network.
This one-day event, at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento, will spotlight industry thought leaders in California and their initiatives from across the state while also providing the opportunity for attendees to discuss current trends and innovations.
Director Miriam Barcellona Ingenito will give a keynote presentation on developing a data retention policy that enables the reduction of data in production while still providing data in a useable format for users.
FISCal’s Chief of Human Resources Gam Thai will participate on a panel on people, processes and data: innovating to support the growth of California. Senior Advisor Joel Riphagen will participate on a panel on the best practices to extract the greatest value from public sector data and Jennifer Carver, Deputy Director of Administrative Services, will participate on a panel on developing the next generation public workforce.
