The Accounting Administrator I (Specialist) (AAI) in the Asset Management Unit provides information and support to various departments transacting in the FI$Cal system. You will coordinate with the State Controller’s Office to facilitate the closure of accounting modules during month-end close/year-end close activities, offer customer support, research and resolve system incidents. The AA I serves as the subject matter expert for the accounting areas and modules of the system such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset management, lease administration, project costing, grants, customer contracts and support change request processing. Providing Level 2 functional support, you must demonstrate a solid understanding of data processing concepts, practices, and methods, offering timely incident communication and resolution of reported incident tickets by FI$Cal system users.
